Brutally
Raw

A collection built around controlled chaos, hand-drawn energy, and the weird space between human sketching and machine-assisted refinement.

About the author

I’ve been in NFTs since late 2021 - started as a collector and moved into building during the bear market.

Over time I experimented with different approaches - from fully procedural Python-generated collections to AI-assisted work - always trying to push something a bit different from the usual PFP meta.

Brutally Raw came from getting tired of the standard animals-and-traits formula and wanting something more expressive, imperfect, and human.

How it was made

The process is a mix of hand-drawn elements, composition work, and AI-assisted generation. Rough ideas started as simple sketches, sometimes even in MS Paint, then got pushed through heavy iteration until the pieces felt visually coherent.

A lot of the work was not just generating images, but curating, refining, and forcing consistency across traits so the final pieces feel intentional rather than random.

That is also why some outputs keep slightly “off” details - extra limbs, imperfect shapes, uneasy proportions. That became part of the identity.

The structure

Each image is divided into five pieces: top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right, and center.

Each piece was drawn separately while keeping line flow compatible with neighboring parts both horizontally and vertically, so recombined outputs still feel like they belong together.

700+ traits

Mostly hand drawn, then pushed through AI-assisted cleanup to smooth the scribble without killing the raw energy.

Controlled chaos

Not polished perfection. The point is tension, imperfection, and a look that feels slightly wrong in a good way.

Human + machine

Built in that strange overlap where sketching, compositing, curation, and machine help all collide.
